Bill Gates appeared on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night, talking about all the topics that matter to the richest man in the country.

Fallon talked about the recent success of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, which eradicated polio from India and has its sights set on a few other countries over the next five years.

And Fallon also wanted to talk tech. Gates predicted that as technology progresses, it will become more pervasive and even more integrated into our daily lives. It’ll be able “to see, to listen, to talk, to recognize handwriting,” according to Gates.

The host then took the opportunity to get in a quick joke about the MacBook on his desk, feigning embarrassment.

The real highlight of the interview came later, when Gates wanted to promote GatesLetter.com. The site hosts an open letter from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which talks about worldwide poverty myths and how to overcome them.

Gates promoted the very serious website in a very silly way: he put on various outfits and accessories and simply repeated GatesLetter.com to a catchy beat. Check out the Gates’s attempt at a viral video below.
