It’s not exactly in mint condition. This NES cartridge looks the worse for wear, with a torn-off label and a handwritten “Mario” in its place.

But to a collector, this rare game is still worth thousands. It’s the Nintendo World Championships cartridge, of which only 116 were ever made.

Championship competitors in 1990 had to beat levels of Super Mario Bros., Rad Racer and Tetris in under 7 minutes. Finalists and winners – 90 in all – each received one of these gray cartridges. The other 26 cartridges were gold and were given out in a separate contest held by Nintendo Power magazine.

This particular cartridge currently stands at $5,500.99 on eBay with about a day to go, and it’s completely playable. That’s a steal considering one copy of the game went for $11,500 at a charity auction in 2011, according to Business Insider.

If you’re interested in owning a piece of gaming history, the current minimum bid is $5,600.99.
