J.R. Smith is up to his sneaky tricks again. I’m not sure if tampering with an opponent’s footwear is a foul. It has to be in the rulebook somewhere. Early in last night’s Knicks-Pistons game, Smith pushed his luck and tried to untie Greg Monroe’s shoes, to no avail.

If Mr. Smith keeps up this bad behavior, it’s likely to become a foul (if it’s not already.) Reportedly, Smith already received a talking-to from Knicks head coach Mike Woodson. But, it looks like we’re going to have to go back and watch some tape. Smith admitted that this is something he tries to do every game:
