Having spent some time in the Garden State himself, Stewart wound up and knocked this one out of the park. In case you don’t know New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has been under heavy fire since the press got their hands on evidence that his people (and possibly himself too) were involved in a disgraceful scandal. They allegedly issued unnecessary lane closures to worsen the already hellish commute from Fort Lee, NJ to NYC. Why? Apparently to punish Fort Lee’s mayor, Mark Sokolich, for not endorsing Christie’s re-election bid. His chances at becoming the Republican candidate for the upcoming presidential election? Fuggedaboutit…
