Spike Lee Tells Story Of Michael Jordan, Magic, And Barkley Playing Poker Hours Before ’92 Olympics Game (Video)
Yesterday in a Sports Illustrated video Spike Lee spoke about a late night poker game with Michael Jordan, Charles Barkley and Magic Johnson.
Spike Lee talks about how funny MJ, Magic and the Round Mound of Rebound were together, but fails to give us any details. C’mon Spike! Dish! There’s got to be way more to the story then you are letting on. Obviously he doesn’t want to jeopardize friendships with three of the greatest players to ever take the court, and who can blame him? But, still. An 8-hour-long poker game and you can’t give us some more details? Bush league. The ’92 Dream Team averaged 117.3 points per game, so they got to get away with partying all night and doing whatever the hell they wanted in Barcelona. These days, Coach K’s lame ass won’t let the U.S. team get away with partying and gambling all night. Then again, there probably will never be another U.S. Olympic team quite like the Dream Team.
