Vin Diesel announced last night that Fast and Furious 7 will be in theaters April 10, 2015.

The film originally had a release date of July 2014. When Diesel’s costar Paul Walker died in a car accident last month, Universal Studios had to make some quick decisions. The studio decided that production will continue beginning in January, and the film will follow a revised script that will give Walker and his character an “honorable” sendoff, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Diesel announced the release date on his Facebook page alongside a picture of him and Walker. The studio quickly confirmed the news. A statement from Universal said, “Continuing the global exploits in the franchise built on speed, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker lead the returning cast of FAST & FURIOUS 7, which will be released by Universal Pictures on April 10, 2015. James Wan directs this chapter of the hugely successful series, and Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel return as producers.”

The first six movies, released between 2001 and 2013, have done quite well in the box office. They’ve grossed a combined $938 million, according to Box Office Mojo. Fast & Furious 6, released earlier this year, was the highest grossing at $239 million.
