Watch Greg Oden’s First NBA Dunk In Years (Video)

It’s hard to look at Greg Oden and see a 25-year-old man. In the face, he’s always looked about 15 years older than he really is. With all the serious operations done on his knees, it’s a safe bet he’s got the joint health of a man 15 years older than him as well. The former #1 draft pick was picked up by the Miami Heat this offseason. After a long recovery following multiple microfracture surgeries on his left knee, Oden suited up for the Heat last night against the New Orleans Pelicans. Halfway through the second quarter, Greg Oden caught a Chris Bosh pass and took it to the hole with a rim-rattler. If Oden can stay healthy, this Heat lineup just got even scarier.

Oden has played a whopping three minutes and fifty-nine seconds of NBA basketball over the past four injury-plagued years. His take for all his hard work? $13.5 million. Something tells me Oden is going to have to actually work this season to earn every penny of that $1.027 million 1-year deal with the Heat.
