The company’s shares spiked 15.47 percent today on heavy trading after it released its fourth quarter and full fiscal 2013 results yesterday. The company managed to handily beat analyst’s estimates all around. It reported $0.34 earnings per share for the quarter, beating the consensus estimate of $0.21 by $0.13. ASNA had revenue of $1.20 billion for the quarter, compared to the consensus estimate of $1.17 billion. The company’s revenue for the quarter was up 27.5 percent on a year-over-year basis. Analysts predict that ASNA will post $1.12 earnings per share for the current fiscal year.

Previously, the company had only one. Shares are up 17.21 percent on heavy volume.

Rumor has it that the company is in talks with Goldman Sachs to iron out funding options. JCP may use its 4 billion real estate portfolio as collateral. The stock is down over 14 percent today on heavy volume.

Copart also announced today that its Board of Directors had unanimously voted not to pursue an REIT conversion. Shares are down almost 8 percent. Copart provides online auctions and vehicle remarketing services.
