Americans Watch Least Amount Of Porn On Christmas

When are Americans least likely to watch porn? If you guessed Christmas Day, you’d be right. The Web site Pornhub—which grants free access to literally millions of X-rated videos—recently analyzed its 2012 U.S. traffic to see when it had the highest and lowest traffic. The days the fewest pornos were watched online were all holidays—topped by Christmas Cay, Thanksgiving and Easter Sunday.

The fewest Americans watched erotic online videos on Dec. 25—perhaps they had too much family to visit or perhaps they were temporarily shamed into celibacy by their trip to Christmas church services. Likewise, holiday and religious festivities kept Americans from logging onto Pornhub on Thanksgiving Day Nov. 22 and Easter Sunday in April.

Christmas Even came in at the No. 4 spot for the least watched porn, as Americans may have been on their best behavior for fear of getting lumps of coal in their stockings. And they must have been too busy celebrating their freedom to watching dirty videos on July 4 to actually view any of porn on Independence Day.

News Year’s Day is sixth on the list for least-watched porn suggesting those who like X-rated content may be too busy nursing a hangover from the previous night of partying.

The only non-holiday on the list was No. 7—Oct. 20—which just happened to be the day Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast and people had more important things on their minds, or just didn’t have an internet connection.

Finishing up the list was Father’s Day and, surprisingly, Valentine’s Day. Although perhaps it just goes to show not all porn watchers are lonely singles, but actually do have significant others to get real sex from when they really want to.
