Apothecanna Skincare Line Launches Pot-Infused Lotions

One skincare company is capitalizing on Colorado’s recent Amendment 64 which legalized cannabis in the state. Denver-based Apothecanna offers a range of products ranging from massage lotion to lip balm—all infused with cannabis. The company claims the high THC and CBD content in its products help treat topical skin conditions and provides quick pain relief. But they must be purchased from a legal medical marijuana dispensary.

According to the Apothecanna’s Web site, the company’s mission is to spread the wisdom of traditional plant medicine.

According to the company’s Web site, Cannabis Seed Oil is packed with vitamins and anti-oxidants that are anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, fight skin inflammations, help heal skin lesions and contain moisture balancing properties to help with dry skin. The company promises users the “non-inebriating” product “does not show up on a standard drug test.

Apothecanna products are currently only available through Colorado dispensaries, but the company plans to soon offer them in stores in Arizona and California. Prices range from $10 for calming body spray to $54 for an eight-ounce tube of “natural pain relief.
