Dennis Rodman Yells Incoherently In CNN Interview
Dennis Rodman and several other professional basketball players recently traveled to North Korea, and many are urging Rodman to use the opportunity to talk politics.
CNN’s Chris Cuomo asked Rodman in a remote interview about charges against Kenneth Bae, an American serving 15 years in a North Korean labor camp for vague charges. Cuomo urged Rodman to use the trip and his camaraderie with dictator Kim Jong-un to speak out in favor of releasing Bae.
The situation escalated quickly, and those around Rodman tried to keep him calm to no avail.
He started off, “The one thing about politics, Kenneth Bae did one thing. If you understand — if you understand what Kenneth Bae did. Do you understand what he did? In this country?”
Following shortly after, he erratically began yelling, “I don’t give a rat’s ass what the hell you think… You are the guy behind the mic right now. We are the guys who have to go back to America and take the abuse.”
