Driver Of Dodge Truck Dramatically Ends A Police Chase By Slamming Into Car Head-On (Video)

When a 14-year-old decided to steal his grandfather’s car and take it for a high-speed joyride through a skate park filled with kids, one good Samaritan came to the rescue—with the a little help from his Dodge truck.

Bryson Crowley became a hero when he ended a police chase through Founders Park in Syracuse, Utah last weekend. When a teen recklessly sped through the park, driving over lawns and weaving through crowds of kids with cops on his tail, Crowley jumped in his truck to help. What happened next was caught on tape in some dramatic footage.

“The person driving the truck could see it was turning back into the park, and he did not want the car to hit all of the children, or any of the children.” Syracuse police officer Erin Behm told Fox 13 News

And he actually pulled his truck in the way so the car collided with the truck,”

Just like that, Crowley ended the chase without any further trouble. No one was reported to be injured, and police credit Crowley for possibly saving the lives of many children who were playing in the park. Officials said the teen, who remains unnamed, was taken to a juvenile detention center.
