Larry David’s Pacific Palisades Home Listed For $14.99 Million

Looking for a Hollywood home for less than $15,000,000? Larry David has just listed his majestic Pacific Palisades estate—which looks like it could belong to a hobbit—for $14.99 million. The “Seinfeld” co-creator’s home sits on a gated property and includes seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms over 10,000 square feet of space. True to its country English design, the property features fireplaces in the living room, family room, dining room and kitchen, as well as the sizable separate guesthouse. A large deck outside of the master suite offers back-yard ocean views, and a sparkling swimming pool rests on the one-acre property.

Interested buyers will have plenty of enthusiasm for the wooden floors, diamond-paned leaded glass windows, wood-beamed ceilings, wood staircases and modern conveniences such as the gym. David and his now-ex Laurie purchased the home and each of the three lots it sits upon in three separate transactions starting in 1993 and ending in 1999. The dwelling was built in 1950 and features an open concept family room and kitchen area with large center island, slab stone countertops, brick accents and top-of-the-line commercial-style stainless steel appliances.

The master suite, located on the second floor, includes a sitting area with built-in bookshelves and large his-and-hers dressing rooms and bathrooms, one complete with vaulted ceiling, sitting area and television, and the other with free-standing soaking tub, hair and a hair-and make-up vanity.

The fairytale home can be had for just $53,955 a month with a 30-year fixed mortgage, provided 20 percent is paid down. It can be seen at 212 Vance St. in Pacific Palisades. Santiago Arana of the Partner’s Trust holds the listing.
