Craigslist is bringing out people’s creative sides lately. Reddit User moustachenvy posted his friend Jerry’s elaborately creepy transformation to sell his old television.

Jerry usually looks pretty normal.

His friends convinced him to grow some facial hair and shave his head to look like Walter White from Breaking Bad. You know, like people do when they prepare for a Craigslist transaction. But Jerry stopped before he shaved his entire head, leaving the sides a la George Costanza. Moustachenvy says the old man look “would ultimately serve to help us sell a TV on craigslist by upping our credibility. obviously.”

Jerry starts talking to someone interested in the television. He’s already playing the part of old man, saying it’s nearly bedtime at 9:34 p.m.

The real fun started when the potential buyer asked for a picture of the TV.

Jerry put on his sexiest little black dress old-school wire-framed glasses to pose with the item for sale, also giving information and a price.

He sent a series of photos of himself with the television.

The buyer didn’t seem to mind, replying, “YES i want it” and asking for an address.

Of course, this is the internet, so I’m naturally a little skeptical that this back-and-forth wasn’t staged.

If it was a real Craigslist interaction, did the buyer come through with $50? Did Jerry ever shave the rest of his head? Moustachenvy isn’t answering questions posted on Reddit, so we may never know.
