Michael Jordan Talks About ‘The Shot’ With Jimmy Fallon

Michael Jordan made a rare public appearance Monday night on the set of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. Kristen Wiig—sorry I mean Jordan is known to be a little camera-shy, despite being the owner of a wildly successful NBA franchise, the Charlotte Bobcats. His Airness took a few minutes out of his busy schedule to shill for his signature scent, Eau De Jordan (he was gracious enough to sign a bottle for Fallon), and also to show off a pair of his best-selling Air Jordan sneakers.

Jordan fondly reminisced about his time spent playing alongside such NBA All-Stars as Larry Bird, Kobe Bryant, Don, and the Three Jimmies. Although he’s sick of talking about it, Jordan once again recalled “The Shot,” where he knocked down a jumper with “just seconds left” to put the final nail in the Cleveland Buccaneers’ coffin.

Jordan also talked at length about his minor league baseball career. He cited having to get used to a new city as the source of his on-field troubles. “I used to be really good, though,” he said with a smile.
