Must be nice to be Sean Parker. While his Greenwich Village townhouse is being renovated, Parker and fiancée Alexandra Lenas have been living at New York’s famed Plaza Hotel. A source told the Mail Online the couple had been there since Christmas and will be for the next year. Such a lavish temporary residence should be no surprise, however, for a man who dropped $20 million on a home that needed renovations to fit his style. Likewise, Parker’s June 1 nuptials in Big Sur, Calif. are rumored to cost about $9 million.

Sean is so excited about the wedding he doesn’t care about the cost. He has invited around 300 people, all his friends and business contacts,” a source told the New York Post. “The affair is so large they’re building their own structures. They have also blocked out numerous hotels in Big Sur for the guests to stay for the event, which will be a multi-day affair.

Not only is the Napster co-founder having structures built for the wedding—including a rustic cottage, waterfalls, bridges and ponds—but he’s hired Ngila Dickson, the costume designer for Lord of the Rings, to design a custom-made costume for each of the 300-plus guests attending the medieval-themed affair.

Since any celebrity wedding is bound to be hounded by media, Parker is taking steps to avoid the paparazzi. Apparently, since word leaked the wedding was planned at the Ventana  Inn and Spa, the couple may move it to another location, possibly Pebble Beach. The date may also change.

Of course Parker can afford a lavish affair. At 33 years old, his estimated net worth is a about $2 billion based on Napster and other tech-startups in which Parker played a role, including Facebook.
