The Houston Rockets Plan On Scaring Their Way To A Winning Season

In about two weeks, the sports world will begin to kick ass again. Not only will we be in the middle of NFL and NCAA football seasons, but the NHL, and more importantly, the NBA will be starting up very soon. I guess there’s playoff baseball too, but who gives a shit? Not me. Anyway, the NBA season kicks off on October 5th. During the opening night festivities, the new-look Houston Rockets will take on the new-look New Orleans Pelicans (wow it feels weird to type the word “Pelicans,” it might be the worst team name in all of professional sports.)

Anyway, the Houston Rockets released two pictures of its home game ticket designs. Apparently Dwight Howard and James Harden only know how to strike one pose.

Curiously, the tickets the Rockets’ Twitter feed posted have information on the bottom for an October 30 tilt against the Bobcats. I know it’s right around Halloween, but is there a need to try and scare Charlotte? They are far and away the worst NBA franchise. Perhaps the Rockets are saving their best tickets for opening night, maybe a “Charlie’s Angels” type pose with Lin, Dwight and James?
