The Malaysian Orchid Mantis is an insect naturally camouflaged to look exactly like a pink orchid. It perches on a branch and waits for unsuspecting prey to land right on it. Adult orchid mantises range from pink to white, but they can change to brown if their environment calls for it. The video description says this is a female, characterized by a green “necklace,” while males have a brownish-purple necklace, according the World Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
