Barack Obama Appeared On ‘Between Two Ferns,’ And It Was Awesome (Video)

The latest episode of Funny or Die’s celebrity interview parody, “Between Two Ferns,” may be one of the best yet. The show first aired in 2008 with host Zack Galifianakis interviewing Michael Cera on a cheaply made set flanked by two potted ferns.

The show has seen the likes of Jimmy Kimmel, Ben Stiller, and Will Ferrell. Sometimes the show’s guests play along with the host’s dry, sometimes hard-hitting humor; other times they play the victim. President Obama chose the former.

Among Galifianakis’ questions to the commander in chief are, “How does this work? Do you send ambassador Rodman to North Korea on your behalf?” and “What’s it like to be the last black president?”

The president holds his ground, saying that running for a third term would be like making a third Hangover movie, “it didn’t really work out well, did it?” he says.

Obama appeared on the show to promote enrollment in the Affordable Care Act ahead of the March 31 deadline to sign up for coverage. Have a watch to see one of the world’s funniest comedians get owned by none other than President Obama.
