It’s a parent’s worst nightmare come true. A number of Disney World employees have been busted in recent years for their involvement in a sex sting, a CNN investigation reveals.

At least 35 Disney workers have been arrested for sex crimes including trying to meet a minor for sex and possession of child pornography since 2006. The investigation revealed that five Universal Studios employees and two from SeaWorld have also been arrested.

At this point, 32 of those arrested have been convicted, with the remaining cases pending.

The six-month-long investigation, led by CNN, involved interviewing law enforcement officials as well as examining the police and court records of some of the men arrested in the sex sting.

While police reports reveal that two of the cases involved possession of child pornography occurred right on Disney property, none of the cases actually involved children or teens visiting the parks.

One of those arrested, 49-year-old service manager Robert Kingsolver, whose job was to oversee repairs at the Magic Kingdom Park, pleaded not guilty to soliciting a child for sexual acts and traveling to meet a minor for unlawful sexual activity.

Kingsolver said he thought he was going to meet a 14-year-old girl for sex at a house in Lake County, Florida when he was met by detectives instead. He denies any wrongful intentions and says he was meeting the girl to protect her and planned to call the police when he got to the house.

They love me,” Kingsolver told CNN. “My kids know me, and they know how much I care for kids. They know that their dad is not somebody that will go out and hurt a young child. They know their dad is somebody that would go out and protect a young child at any cost.”

He added: “My life is ruined. My family’s life is ruined. My kids’ life is ruined. I’ve devastated my parents because of bad judgment.”

Security guards, a VIP tour guide in training, a gift shop employee, maintenance workers, and a customer were among the others caught in the sex sting, according to police and court records.

In the most recent sting from July, two Disney employees and one from Universal Studios were arrested. One of the men reportedly advertised himself online as, “Big Teddy Bear for younger chaser” and was arrested when he, similarly to Kingsolver, went to a house to meet a 14-year-old boy.
