As a kid it was really fun to play trucks and trains, but you eventually lose some of the excitement when you start discovering video games… or girls. That’s not the case for everybody, the talented folks at Monster Railroad have clearly spent many hours refining its modeling skills. It recently posted a high quality video of a replicated train ride through Switzerland. If it weren’t for the little plastic people, one could be fooled that this was a clip of an IMAX documentary on trains. The modeling train community is one that can be exclusive, generational, and territorial (judging from its various message boards), but this art can definitely be appreciated.
