Arizona State University recently dedicated the tunnel in Sun Devil Stadium to Pat Tillman. Tillman was the ASU football player who moved on to the Arizona Cardinals of the NFL but left some serious money on the table to join the Army Rangers post-9/11. Tillman was killed in a friendly fire accident in Afghanistan that the military tried very hard to keep under wraps, so it’s ironic that a Sun Devil would get mercilessly trampled the first time the “Pat Tillman Tunnel” was used.
