You can add business investing to the list of things Bar Refaeli does—along with modeling, philanthropy, acting, and looking damn fine.

This week the Israeli beauty is in Manhattan for the launch of MyCheck in the US, an app she supports and invests in. MyCheck officially rolls out on Thursday, November 21st at the VIP room, an event that will be sponsored by the Vodka brand, Svedka.

While the app makes its debut in New York, MyCheck has been a very successful startup overseas. It won second place in the 2012 Mobile Tech competition and is viewed as a revolutionary addition to the fine-dining world. With the app, customers can pay for their meal right from their smart phones, saving the hassle of tracking down their waiter or avoiding the embarrassment of leaving their cash or wallet behind (because nobody forgets their phones.) The restaurants will have the convenience of one less transaction to deal with; gratuity can be included within the MyCheck payment method.

Pre-launch, around 20 businesses in NYC participated in a pilot run to integrate the app, and the results were positive. The app also works at bars, salons, gyms, and cigar shops.

Some people may remember Bar Refaeli from her GoDaddy Super Bowl commercial where one lucky nerd got to slobber all over her for what presumably took 38 takes. Luckily the MyCheck commercial is tamer, albeit longer.

And in case you’ve forgotten who Bar Refaeli is:

Yeah, didn’t think you’d forgotten.
