Wiffle ball is no longer a children’s game. It is now a game played by grown men wearing matching shirts, playing on a child-size replica of Fenway Park. The Travis Roy Wiffle Ball Tournament’s 12th year was capped by this incredible play:

This children’s game is being played for charity, though, so it’s hard to make fun of. The annual tournament raises money to help people living with spinal cord injuries. Hopefully Mr. Fleming escaped such an injury. Fleming’s catch made the final out of the ballgame, although the knucklehead in the on-deck circle was convinced the hit was a home run. Apparently to him, wiffle ball operates on a separate set of rules than any other bat-and-ball sport played in America.
