Harlem Globetrotter Sets World Record For Longest Basketball Shot (Video)
The Harlem Globetrotters are making headlines again and this time it doesn’t involve a backboard almost cutting the head off one of its players. Corey “Thunder” Law successfully nailed a shot from 109 feet 9 inches. Thunder and two teammates alternated shots for about an hour at the U.S. Airways Center before the 23-year-old Globetrotter finally entered the record books. Sure it wasn’t a game winner and it probably took a ton of tries, but either way Corey “Thunder” Law is a world record holder… and it happened on World Record Day!
The previous record was 104 feed 7 inches.
