Idaho Sportscaster Does Entire Segment As Ron Burgundy (Video)
Halloween in Idaho must feature plenty of daytime happy hours because KIVI sports director Paul Gerke was in rare form during Thursday night’s sportscast. He did his entire segment as Ron Burgundy and worked in plenty of jokes from the popular film whose sequel comes out this Christmas. Bits like Gerke’s could sometimes seem like they drag on but the sportscaster stayed in character for the full segment, during some commenter banter and even the weather report.
Say what you want but the kid has ‘chops.’ He might not be covering Boise State women’s basketball for long.
