Jay Z Let A 12-Year-Old Rap On Stage With Him, And He Stole The Show (Video)
Jay Z showed his paternal side on Sunday when he invited a pint-sized fan on stage with him. The 12-year-old was holding a sign that read “Can I rap for you?” at Jay Z’s concert in Greensboro, N.C., and the rapper invited him to do just that.
The clearly nervous kiddo hopped on stage and held his own, performing part of “Clique,” a Kanye West song featuring Jay Z. And he received plenty of support. When the kid got to a questionable part of the song, Jay Z instructed him, “Just skip the drug dealing part and go back to the numbers.”
The crowd loved the impromptu performance, giving the boy a roar of cheers. And Jay Z said they could meet backstage at the end of the show.
