Mercedes Super Bowl Ad Features A Lot Less Kate Upton Than Teaser (Video)
For those who saw Mercedes Benz’ Super Bowl teaser of a scantily-clad Kate Upton having her car washed and couldn’t wait to see the spot on their big screen come Sunday… the joke’s on you. As it turns out, the teaser was just that—a preview of some of the action in Mercedes actual Super Bowl spot released online Jan. 30.
The actual ad—although exciting in its own right—features a lot less Upton, but still offers a star-studded cast. Set to the Rolling Stones’ “Sympathy for the Devil,” the ad includes Usher busting out some moves, Willem Dafoe offering a tempting deal on the new Mercedes CLA-Class and of course Upton in a cameo appearance.
The ad also stars New Orleans through no circumstance.
Mercedes-Benz is no stranger to The Big Easy,” the company said in a press release. “Since 2005, the automaker has taken part in several charitable programs for rebuilding and cleaning up the city post hurricane Katrina. The brand is also the official sponsor of the New Orleans Superdome, the host stadium of Super Bowl XLVII.”
