Photographer Elena Shumilova’s two young sons share a special connection with animals. Shumilova’s photographs show her sons, Yaroslav and Vanya, experiencing magical moments with the animals around them, especially rabbits, dogs and ducklings. It’s a connection we often grow out of and forget about with age, but these photos bring us back to a surreal world of innocence.
