The Wolfpack Heads Back To Sin City in ‘Hangover 3’

The bachelor party and nuptials may be over, but the now legendary Wolf Pack couldn’t call it quits without turning the “Hangover” series into a trilogy. Warner Bros. released the trailer for the third installment Thursday, and it looks like another comedic masterpiece will hit screens when Alan (Zach Galifianakis), Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms) and Doug (Justin Bartha) head back to Sin City May 24.

The trailer doesn’t offer any plot details of “The Hangover 3,” but it starts off with Schubert’s “Ave Maria” playing at a funeral. It turns out Alan is singing the soaring tenor melody, and his dad is the corpse. “My god,” Phil whispers to Stu. “He has the voice of an angel.”

Mike Tyson is sadly absent from the threequel, but our favorite Asian Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong) is back—with clothes this time, from what we can tell in the trailer. So is Heather Graham. And we can’t wait to see Melissa McCarthy in a new role. Apparently it’s love at first sight between her character and Alan, who lasciviously share a lollipop. Although Doug is in the movie, he’s absent from the trailer, which makes us wonder what’s happened to him during the movie… Maybe he gets captured by the dudes in pig masks that seem to be chasing the guys around the city?

Alan—always a barrel of laughs—promises yet another highlight of the movie when he adopts a pet giraffe and goes driving down the freeway with it—until it appears to get decapitated and all hell breaks loose. We’ll have to wait and see how that pans out.
