This Family Rapping In Their Christmas Pajamas Will Make Your Christmas Card Look Lame (Video)

Pajama-Clad-Family-Makes-Hilarious-Painfully-Cheesy-Christmas-Rap-Video

The Holderness family of Raleigh, N.C. decided Christmas cards are just too plain. Penn, Kim, and their two children Lola and Penn Charles opted to liven up their Christmas greetings by sending a rap video instead. They spend a few minutes summarizing their recent events and getting very excited about their matching pajamas, embroidered with “dad,” “mom,” “lola” and “penn,” respectively.

The photogenic family’s video makes sense, as they’re all used to appearing on camera. Penn has been in the television business for 18 years and is currently an evening news anchor, according to his blog, and Kim is an actress who recently appeared in Ironman 3. The two kids are musical and both seem to like the limelight, if this video is any indication.

Kim told ABCNews the video didn’t take too long. They filmed it all in half a day, and Penn spent about 12 hours editing.

The mother of the family added that it was just a good-spirited family project. “We don’t take ourselves too seriously.”
