This kid convinced his mother, who was housebound due to having multiple sclerosis, to play a simulation game called Animal Crossings, in which you create a character that lives in a fictional city. The game is essentially a virtual database that anyone can contribute to. Created by Nintendo, it allows the gamer to play in real-time and interact with other characters created by other players.

Even after the mother had achieved every milestone in the game, such as paying off her house, her interest never stopped, and her son could not understand. The son created this cartoon strip to illustrate how and why Animal Crossings was so important to his mother, and eventually to him.
