This Is The Smallest Running Back You Will Ever See (Video)
Late into Rice University’s 45-7 whoopin’ over UTEP on Saturday, the nation’s smallest NCAA football player checked into the game. Jayson Carter is a senior on the football team. Carter suffers from a genetic disorder that limited his growth. The scout-teamer stands in at 4’9″ and 135 pounds, making him the smallest player on an NCAA football roster. I’m sure there’s a few tiny punt returners or kickers on some random team that are 135 pounds or less, but nobody is quite as short as Carter. Just look how small he is compared to the rest of the players on the field. I’d like to compare this to Rudy, but the hero in that movie was 5’5″, considerably taller than Mr. Carter.
