There’s no denying that smartphones are awesome. They’ve changed human interaction by allowing us to connect with way more people than ever before on a daily basis. Is there a trade off though? Are smartphones diluting our actual real life relationships? We have all seen that couple at a restaurant, both sitting there face down into their cell phones ignoring each other. I’ve even done it myself.

A short video written by and starring Charlene deGuzman has caught some serious buzz this weekend. It portrays the disturbing side of excessive smartphone use and some of the scenarios are spot on.
