There’s a reason why Asian countries produce the world’s smartest kids, and pretty much surpass the United States in every area (except perhaps creativity—but then again, we’re speaking from a what-will-get-you-a-job perspective).

According to the 2011 The Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) and the 2011 Progress In International Reading Literacy Study, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Chinese Taipei ranked the highest in the world for math and sciences, in that order.
