On Monday, Apple executives Bruce Sewell and Jeff Williams each sold $15 million worth of Apple stock, according to SEC filings.

Sewell, Apple’s general counsel and Senior Vice President of Legal and Government Affairs, sold 37,172 shares for his sum, while Williams, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Operations, sold 36,819. Share prices were roughly $399-405.

The sale was in accordance with SEC rule 10b5-1, which means Sewell and Williams notified the SEC of its plans in advance. Both executives still have thousands of shares remaining.

Neither executive has commented on the reasons for selling such a large chunk of stock. Do they foresee trouble with growth for AAPL?
