Steve Carell paid a visit Wednesday to British morning show Daybreak and gave meteorologist Laura Tobin a run for her money. After interviewing with others on the show, he wandered over to the weather area and offered Tobin a few words of advice before concluding, “This is the hardest job in the world.”

The appearance was in anticipation of Anchorman 2, in which Carell plays inept weatherman Brick Tamland. It’s just the latest of many stunts pulled by the goofy cast. Other promotions for the movie, which will hit theaters Dec. 18, include a series of broadcast appearances by costar Will Ferrell, an ice cream flavor from Ben & Jerry’s, and a scotch named after Ferrell’s character Ron Burgundy.
