Australian X Games Supercross contestant Meghan Rutledge was in first place at the Women’s Motto-X race this weekend in Los Angeles, nearing the finish line. Feeling comfortable with the lead, she lets off a few celebratory fist pumps while mid-air. This will be the last time she fist-pumps, ever.

American Vicki Golden seized the opportunity, and took home gold in the event for the third straight year. U-S-A! U-S-A! I don’t like how Golden celebrates, though. I don’t think Golden really won, so much as Rutledge really blew it. The real loser in all of this is poor yellow-flag-waver-guy, putting his life on the line to let the racers know to turn by the guy waving the yellow flag, just so some crazy Aussie can almost run him over in a desperate bid for third place. “I’m way too old for this shit,” yellow-flag-waver-guy probably didn’t say.
